As a young architect without a lot of guidance in how code works or why it is written the way it is, this book has established a stronger foundation for me in applying the IBC. I have some experience applying code, but it often felt like stabbing in the dark since I'm fairly inexperienced. Though not a replacement for experience, it will help you get started on the right foot. I'd recommend this book to all young architects coming out of school.
